Inspired by Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann, venerable French designer
A bed designed for use as more than a bed, with a headboard that feels more like a sofa back, enabling work, reading, taking one’s coffee, all while sitting in bed with minimal pillows and a great deal of comfort.
Achieving the soft rectilinear curve of the headboard and footboard was a technically complex and nuanced process - while the bed presents as rounded, it houses a standard box spring and mattress. The elegant walnut foot detail alludes to classic Art Deco furniture pieces and simultaneously feels very current.

Customizable down to the wood species of the foot. Available in Full, Queen, King, California King. Each and every component of this piece is handmade, by expert craftspeople, in the USA.
